How Take Care of your Wedding Dress before & after Wedding

Wedding Dresses usually cost thousands of dollars, so the bridesmaid should learn how to maintain and stock a wedding dress. I would be love to share some tips of how to take good care of your expensive wedding dress as you have spent a lot of time and money to get the perfect bridal gown. Whether you’re planning to hang onto it for posterity after the wedding, resell it or donate it to charity, taking care of your dress properly will ensure its beauty lasts a lifetime.

Before Wedding

Before wedding, you’ll want to take your dress out of the bag and let it breathe. Make sure there are no wrinkles and that it looks nice. If it is wrinkled, have it professionally steamed or hang it in the bathroom while you take a hot shower and let it steam for about 15 minutes.

After Wedding

After prom is over, you’ll want to look the dress over to check for stains and try to get them out as soon as possible. Stains are much harder to remove once they are set.

Here are some stain-removal tips:
Makeup can be removed with a warm compress and a light dab of color safe bleach.
Grass stains can be removed with alcohol.
Grease is best removed by washing with warm water, then blotting with a paper towel.
Sweat can be removed with a damp bar of soap followed by liquid detergent.

If you’re not up to removing stains yourself, have the dress professionally cleaned. Some cleaners can also preserve wedding dresses in special boxes to make sure your memories last for years to come.

Green and Pink Wedding Theme for Summer Wedding

I have only a couple months left for my wedding 2017. There must be lots of couples like me are still planning their 2017 weddings. Our wedding planner predicts the hottest trends for the coming year. And I would be love to share some of our favorite upcoming wedding trends in decor, fashion, food, and honeymoons.
Victorian styles are an inspiration for the 2017 bridal season. Long, full skirts paired with corsets, chokers and high necklines are going to be all over the bridal runways. Also, look out for lots of lace, even in the form of long sleeves. We’ll also see Victorian-style booties as a new trend in bridal shoes.
The trend of having a separate reception dress shows no sign of stopping. Many brides will choose to have a fuller, more ornate dress for their ceremony, and a shorter or more casual dress. It is clear that the latter should be much more relaxed and fun. They say the rumors that Kate Middleton will do so. We’ll have to wait and see…

Ultra-romantic wedding bouquets will pair beautifully with classically-inspired wedding dresses. Soft colors such as ivory or light pink, and big, plush blooms like peonies, will be adorned with details like pearls.

There are lots of diverse options here. The bold color pairing of 2017 continue here, such deep pink and sunny yellow. Neutrals will make a comeback this season, however, with choices that convey tranquility, such as beige and pale blue.
Grooms cakes are becoming an essential part of the dessert course, going beyond sports-themed treats and becoming nearly as elaborate as the primary wedding cake. Full-on dessert tables will be a trend this year, with smatterings of pies, cupcakes, and other, often homemade, treats.
Having an overarching theme to your wedding was passé for a little while there, but all-out themes are coming back. You’ll see wine lovers with cork & bottle décor and even wine tastings at the reception; seaside-themes with everything from shell decor to a seafood dinner. Embrace your theme and incorporate it into everything from your wedding invitations to your wedding favors.
Forget the same old destinations! No more generic all-inclusive resorts for couples getting married in 2017. Today’s newlyweds are saving up and heading to distant exotic locales. Bali, Morocco and Nepal will start to win out over traditional places like Jamaica and Mexico. Adventurous couples will be doing more than just lying on the beach – we are seeing 2017 couples register for outgoing activities, such as kite surfing, scuba diving, horseback riding and more!

About Who Pays for What at A Wedding

When getting married, the bride may also need to consider who pays for what when planning a wedding ceremony. This advice still does apply when you are planning a traditional wedding but remember there are so many variables – whether you have been living together for a long time and already have a family, if you have been married before, what religion you belong to and what the expectations are, your own financial situation and your parent’s and partner’s financial situations – the list is endless. So only use this as a guide and bear in mind that not everyone sticks to tradition.

The Lady In Pink

The crop top style formal dress is so popular now. It has been my all time favorite styles. Now I am looking for a crop top pink formal dress to attend a wedding party that breaks traditional formal dress code while staying within the true romantic form that a wedding symbolizes and celebrates. I probably tried on 15 dresses over the course of finding mine. My favorite look is lacy with gowns in soft, transparent fabrics that can be topped off with head wreaths of flowers, ivy and dried foliage. I am going to match this look with causal long flowing hair.

Here are the top looks that combining the earthy and ethereal all at once for a charming Chicago wedding. Rather than making a long distance drive to find a dress, I searched the dress online. I originally bought one but just knew right after that it was not it. After doing a lot more research online, I couldn’t stop looking at this one from formal dresses Australia. It was more dress than I ever thought I’d want, but something about it just had me, and I knew that I had to find it. So, the next day I loaded up my dogs (so I’d have company) and made the four-hour Saturday road-trip to see it. It was love at first sight, and thankfully, since I bought it from the same location as the original, they were able to exchange the order. I took home the floor sample that day and never looked back.
Stunning, sensuous, enthralling, captivating, powerful….it’s hard to give just three. This dress made me feel the best I think I’ve ever felt. I wish I could wear it regularly! I’ve found a dress online I like and a salon in my area carries it so I made an appointment to try it on. Because I plan on adding a hood to the neckline of whatever dress I choose, it’s really important I find the right one. Naturally I want to explore other shopping alternatives. Is the salon with all the big white dresses my only choice?

I originally looked on this hot pink formal dress for my dress knowing I wanted something beautiful without paying too much for something I was only going to be wearing a few hours. So, when I did end up finding mine in a retail location, I knew that someday I would want someone else to be able to enjoy the dress as much as I had without having to worry about the extra cost. I’m not going to lie, I love this dress so much that it is actually a little tough to sell it, but if I know another bride will have the most amazing day of her life in it, that makes passing it along very worthwhile.

If you don’t already have a gown and decide to customize rather than custom design, you’re going to have to go shopping. Many publications and websites refer to this phase as the ‘dress search’. Looking online or perusing magazines is usually the beginning. Once your search starts feeling two dimensional, like you want to actually see the reality version, you need to get out and physically look. I call this stepping into and feeling what its like to actually wear a gown, window shopping. You’ll need to try on several to find out what looks best. Whether you order your dress from a salon and customize it later or choose to have one custom made, there’s nothing like actually putting on ready made gowns, looking at yourself in a three-way mirror to evaluate what cut and line look best on your figure type. If you think about it, any gown ordered off a sample in a salon, is, in a sense, a custom gown. Think about it--You're going to add your own version of headpiece and/or veil. Add shoes, gloves, and other accessories and voila! you have a real custom look? Your gown though will be all the more customized. You probably already have a sense of ‘owning’ how you’re going to embellish it once you find it.

I love the top of this purple dress. Its perfect for me except the skirt is way off what’s ideal for my proportions. I do however like another version of skirt you offer on the gown. Is there some way I can exchange these pieces to get what I want? It’s a simple, high neck sheath that’s perfect for wearing under that purple organza dress you’re designing for me. The problem is, it’s a gorgeous two piece formal dress and the lightest color it comes in is tulle. I get this dress made in a less expensive fabric from the online website. You can view it here:
